I love your dentist. It’s by far the best one I’ve ever been to. All the staff super friendly and explain everything at each visit.

Your implant options explained

Dental implants are small titanium posts that replace the root of a missing tooth. They provide a secure foundation for natural-looking replacement teeth - whether that’s a single crown or a full arch of fixed teeth.

Single tooth implants
Ideal if you're missing one or a few teeth. A custom crown is attached to the implant for a seamless match with your natural smile.

Full mouth implants
If you're missing most or all of your teeth, we offer All-on-4 and All-on-6 treatments. These use four or six implants to secure a full arch of fixed teeth - often fitted on the same day.

Whatever your needs, we’ll build a plan that suits your smile, lifestyle and goals.

Losing teeth can impact far more than your appearance. It can affect how you chew, how you speak, and how confident you feel every day. Waiting too long can also lead to jawbone loss and shifting of nearby teeth.

Dental implants offer a fixed, long-lasting solution that can:

Restore the look and feel of a natural smile

Preserve jawbone strength and facial structure

Improve chewing and speaking ability

Stop nearby teeth from moving into gaps

Eliminate the hassle of loose dentures

Consultation & Planning

Your journey starts with a free consultation with Claire, our dedicated treatment coordinator. She’ll listen to your concerns, answer your questions and explain your options. We then take advanced 3D scans to assess your jawbone, nerves and surrounding teeth. This allows us to plan your treatment with complete precision.

Implant Placement

For single implants, a titanium post is gently placed under local anaesthetic. Once healed, we fit a custom crown. For full mouth treatments, we use All-on-4 or All-on-6 techniques. In many cases, a full arch of fixed teeth can be fitted on the same day as your implant surgery.

Final Restoration

After your implant has fully fused with the bone, we fit your final crown or bridge. Each one is crafted to match the shape, shade and bite of your natural teeth.

Frequently asked questions about dental implants in Kettering

How long does the full process take?

Usually 3–6 months from placement to crown fitting, including healing time. We’ll monitor your progress closely at every stage.

Is this treatment suitable for everyone?

It depends on bone health and overall dental condition – we’ll assess this during your consultation and talk you through your options.

Can I have treatment if I don’t live in Wellingborough?

Yes, we welcome patients from surrounding areas like Finedon, Irthlingborough and Great Harrowden.

Can implants be placed and teeth fitted the same day?

Yes – for many patients, we can provide temporary teeth on the same day as implant placement using All-on-4 or All-on-6.

Will it hurt?

The procedure is done with local anaesthetic. Most patients say discomfort is minimal and manageable afterwards.

Will I need a lot of time off work?

Most patients take a few days to rest after surgery. We’ll provide a clear recovery plan tailored to you.

Is a dental implant better than a bridge?

Implants don’t affect neighbouring teeth and help preserve bone – making them the preferred long-term solution in many cases.

How do full mouth implants compare to traditional dentures?

They’re far more stable, natural-feeling and comfortable. You can eat and speak without worry, and they help prevent further bone loss.

How do I care for it?

Brush and floss as normal and attend routine check-ups. We’ll give you tailored hygiene advice to help it last.

What ongoing care is needed?

We’ll support you with hygiene advice and regular check-ups to keep your new smile in excellent condition for years to come.
